Manx Film night “From Fascists to Herring  Girls”   &   “Grandad’s Pier”

Grandad’s Pier : A wind-swept, tea-soaked, heart-warming film about community, hope, and leaving a legacy beyond our years”. & From Fascists to Herring  Girls : A walk around the streets of Peel with amazing stories of the city and its people, stretching back to the 1930’s.                                                                                                                                                          Bolognese & Baked Spuds, followed by Pudding & Custard. Please book in advance by ringing Gilly on 844031 between 10 am & 6 pm stating if you need a Gluten Free or Vegetarian option. Feel free to bring your own wine / beer. There’s always a raffle!!  After costs proceeds go to the Church Restoration Fund as well as the IoM Motor Neuron Disease Association and Hands of Hope a Manx charity operating overseas working in Romania and helping refugees from Ukraine. There will also be a retiring collection to help support the Ramsey Pier Charity.
