Time Enough Easter 2026
Fait gys Blein ny Gaelgey – Welcome to the year of the Manx Language 2026.
We wanted to celebrate this incredible year by creating our own competition. Time Enough is the English translation of the Manx phrase “Traa Dy Lioor” and our moto is there is always “time enough” to do the things you want, which is why we have dedicated this website to all the amazing things you can do on the Island.
Time to relax, colouring our inspiring illustrations, created by Manx artist, Christina Corkill. Award winning painter Christina, attended the Isle of Man Art Foundation course, before studying Fine Art in Florence. Her designs reflect Manx Culture and Folklore, depicting Basking Sharks from our coasts, and the Manx Cat, together with our night sky, with wild fuchsia and a few magical elements.
The competition will be judged by Dr Breesha Maddrell, head of Culture Vannin. Culture Vannin believes in developing exciting projects which enable us to engage meaningfully in our Island life, developing and supporting Manx Culture.
This competition is open to Isle of Man residents only. If you live off Island, you can always do it for fun, but sorry, no prizes.
To enter the competition:
- Download Christina’s beautiful illustrations and colour in.
- You can choose to do only one or both designs.
- Add your Name, Age and Contact details including email.
- Scan or photograph your entries and send them to: competition@timeenough.im
There are three categories and our wonderful Art Box prizes to be won:
o Adult
o Age 11-16
o Age 10 and Under
The closing date is 30 April 2026. The winners will be announced on the Time Enough Website on 11th May 2026.
Prizes
Each Category Winner wins one of our Art Boxes of painting and drawing materials.
In addition there are 6 Runner’s Up prizes of Colouring Pencils
Full Competition Rules
The judges’ decision is final.
The competition is open to anyone of the appropriate age living on the Isle of Man.
More than one entry is permitted.
The entries must be received before the closing date. The closing date is 30th April 2026.
The entries will not be returned to the competitors.
The entries may be sent via email to competition@timeenough.im
The entries must have the full name, age and contact details.
The entries must be the entrants’ original work.
The winners will be announced on the 11th May 2026.
Time Enough, may post the winning entries on social media and their own website together with the names of the prize winners.
The normal terms and conditions of the website applies to this competition.
Prizes to be delivered to the winner’s addresses.
No cash alternative is available for the prizes.
