Fait gys Blein ny Gaelgey – Welcome to the year of the Manx Language 2026

The Time Enough colouring competition was a great success, created to celebrate the Year of the Manx Language 2026 in a fun and creative way. Judging the many entries was not easy, but several clear winners emerged.

Dr Breesha Madrell, Head of Culture Vannin, selected the finalists, whose entries can be viewed on this website here.

A small prize-giving ceremony followed at Culture Vannin on Tuesday 19th May. Culture Vannin is committed to creating inspiring projects that help people connect meaningfully with Island life while supporting Manx culture.

Time Enough is the Isle of Man’s events website and a valuable resource for discovering what is happening around the Island, places to visit, and snippets of Manx history. It attracts thousands of visitors looking for ideas and planning their leisure time. Although it also has a Facebook page, the website offers far more information. For the most complete guide to what is happening, visitors should go to the website. Time Enough highlights Island life and what makes the Isle of Man such a distinctive and special place to live.

Manx artist Christina Corkill, who created the competition, said, “Thank you to everyone who took part. We hope you enjoyed getting involved and being creative.” Her Manx colouring book is due to be published later this year.
