Dalby Church and Schoolrooms will be open from 10:30am to 4:30pm on October 3rd and 4th for our Harvest Heritage Weekend. As well as the usual seasonal displays of flowers, there will be a photo display in the Schoolrooms – ‘Farming the Old Ways’. Our village history display will be open downstairs in the Hub, and tea, coffee and light refreshments (i.e. Manx soda cake and flapjacks) will be available in the Schoolrooms. Everyone is welcome to drop in.
Harvest Concert Service
To conclude our weekend of harvest celebrations, on Sunday evening at 6:30pm, everyone is warmly invited to our Harvest Concert Service, when the Lhondhoo Male Voice Choir returns to sing for us. The service also includes harvest reflections by local people, followed by tea and cake in the Schoolrooms.
