The North vs the South

A Boxing Day ritual, the Manx game of Cammag, is similar to the Scottish game of Shinty, Irish Hurling or Welsh Bundy played on a 200 meter long pitch originally in Peel but now at St Johns.

The best Camman are made from gorse wood while the ball is either cork or wood, sometimes leather. At least four players are needed but whole villages can take part.
