The Isle of Man Art Festival is a bi-ennial event organised by The Creative Network. The Festival consists of artists’ open studios, exhibitions and artists’ demonstrations in a wide range of mediums from watercolour to wood carving with textiles, mosaics, ceramics etc. in between.
It is an Island-wide event held over three weekends in August at a variety of venues –
5th and 6th in the South: Ballasalla Village Hall, Grenaby Studios, Art Squared and The art Vault in Castletown
12th and 13th the Central: House of Manannan, Mamma Moon’s, Helen Fox, Anna Clucas
19th and 20th in the North of the Island: Quayle’s Hall, Rebecca Odessa, Onchan Community Hub
Ongoing exhibitions include the Hodgson Loom Gallery, Silverburn Art Trail and Silverdale Herring Hunt
