Braddan Association Football Club-The Swans
Cronkbourne Football Ground, Braddan
Originally formed in 1923 the Laundrymen played at Clucas’s Laundry Ground before moving to Cronkbourne Football Ground in 1995. They were officially nicknamed the Swans in 1962 when their club badge was designed. In 1958 four players were killed in the Winter Hill air crash. Their most successful players include Tim Tickle, Artie Kewley, and George “Jinx” Caine.
