The first missionary to the Isle of Man was John Taylor who was the third president of the Church from 1880 to 1887.

The congregation reflects the multi-culturalism of the Island with members who come from England, Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Nigeria, Australia, and America as well as the Isle of Man.
