Opened in July 1965, the Wildlife Park has over 350 different animals and 70 different species. Favourites include: Flamingos, Otters, Penguins, Meerkats, Monkeys and Wallabies. Organised events happen throughout the year with extra events during the Summer.

The Park has its own café, an Adventure playground, an Echanted Woodland playground, the Play Barn, a Giant Jumping Pillow and a miniature railway. The Orchid Line trains runs every Sunday from Easter to October. There is an additional charge to use the railway.
