Isle of Man Archery Club

Onchan Community Centre, School Road, Onchan, IM3 1RD

The Club holds practices and matches at different locations on the Island.

Archery is the skill of using a bow to shoot arrows.  This ancient art dates back to the Paleolithic or Mesolithic periods. The target in competitive sport is a series of coloured rings with a bull’s eye in the middle.

Open to anyone over the age of 9 with introduction courses held every October and January.

Opening Hours

In the summer months they shoot Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and all day Sunday at Greeba Playing fields.

Tuesday (Senior Squad only) – 5pm till dusk
Thursday (Club night) – 5pm till dusk
Sunday (Competition day) – 9.30am for 10am start (Afternoon session 1.30pm for 2pm start).

In the winter months they shoot Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and all day Sunday at Onchan Community Centre.

Tuesday (Senior Squad only) – 7pm for 7.30pm start
Thursday (Club night) – 7pm to 8.30pm junior session & 8.30pm to 10pm senior session
Sunday (Competition day) – 10am for 10.30am start (Afternoon session 1pm for 1.30pm start)
