It’s not called Ping Pong it’s called Table Tennis. The International Table Tennis Federation was formed in 1926 and currently has 226 members. Table Tennis became an Olympic sport in 1988. The game is played by two to four players hitting a small ball over a net with small bats. The skill lies in the spinning trajectory of the ball.

In the 1994 film “Forest Gump” the actor Tom Hanks masters the skills of Table Tennis among other skills.
