Until recently, the Island’s sole representative at any Commonwealth Games, was Jack Osbourne, who boxed in the Empire games, in Cardiff, in 1958. In the 2008, Commonwealth Games however, Daniel Roberts boxed, and in Delhi in 2010, two boxers qualified; Krystian Borucki  and Dominic Winrow. Dominic and Krystian, are the only two Island boxers, to have held the prestigious, North West Region Championship belts. Dominic, in 2010, became the first Isle of Man boxer to reach the English ABA finals, where he was beaten by 2012 Olympian and 2011 World silver medallist, Anthony Joshua.
