The combination of the Island’s beautiful landscape with its rich culture means that it is a very popular place for detectorists. Some very exciting finds have been discovered this way including Paul Robert’s Bronze Age Sword in 2017 and Gordon Graham’s Medieval Silver Ring in 2018.
