Ramsey Bakery

In 1972, there were over thirty family owned bakeries on the Isle of Man, but by the early 1990s this had been reduced to less than ten, so when in 1976  Laxey Glen Mills went into receivership it was bought by the Government.

The Ramsey Bakery opened in 1972 in a former fruit shop on Bowring Road, Ramsey and uses and supports the Laxey Glen Mills.
