Viking Longboat Races

Rescheduled from the 18th July…

Since 1963, the Viking longboats have raced against each other, in a show of team strength and courage, in this 400m race. Each crew of ten, must lift oars over 3 meters long, just to move the boat.

Usual start at about noon but this is a tidal event and times can change.
