There are Remembrance Services at various churches throughout the Island. The Memorial Hall in Union Mills is usually open for those who prefer a time of reflection. Wreaths will be laid at the cenotaphs and a minuet’s silence is observed.

The whole of Douglas will light up with the Christmas lights switch on at 7pm. Ice sculptures, live music and carol singing, children’s Fairground in Villiers Square, Artisan market on Marina Road and Santa’s grotto in the Strand shopping Centre.
