Since 1909, there have been Manx Scouts promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

Established in 1909 this still remains the Island’s oldest continuous Scout group.

There are an estimated 58 million scouts in 216 countries and territories around the world. Scouting is the world’s biggest youth organisation. The aim of Scouting is to promote the development of young people. The method of achieving the aim is through progressive training and the provision of exciting and adventurous activities.

Lighthouse Cycling Challenge

Manx Tri-Athlon Club

The Club was established in 1991 with the aim of providing training and events for triathletes or those new to the sport, on the Island. Competitions include the May Sprint, the Aquathon and a Junior Tri.
