May Day Collectors’ Fair

Dalby’s annual May Day event is taking place again this year on Monday 4th May. Starting at 11:00 am and closing at 4:30 pm, there will be a wide range of collectables on sale, along with homemade lunches of soup, sandwiches, cakes, coffee and afternoon teas available throughout the day. Additional seating will be available in the garden if the weather permits, as well as in the Dalby Hub. And, true to tradition, there will also be the cake stall and the plant stall.

After costs, all proceeds go to Dalby Church Restoration Fund and their two charities for this year: the Manx charity Autism in Mann; and the Manx charity working overseas, The Coral & Pearl Hostels Trust, which operates hostels for vulnerable girls in Tanzania.

Please note the 11:00 am start time this year. Also, we won’t be selling general bric-a-brac this year in the Hub, focusing instead on running a table-top sale of smaller ‘collectables’ alongside the collectors upstairs.
