Founded in 2015, the charity was set up to encourage and give advice to the Manx public, concerning the rehabilitation and preservation of  sick, injured and orphaned hedgehogs and to generally assist in the survival of the species.

Manx Society for the Provention of Cruelty to Animals -MSPCA

Staff and Volunteers care for lost, abandoned, injured and traumatised animals. Nursing them back to health and trying to find them homes or returning them to the wild. The Society has kennels, a cattery, a small animals unit, aviary and seal pen. Rescuing over 1600 creatures a year, at costs of around £2,000 a day.
