A desire for a Baptist Service in the North of the Island, meant that in 2007, this congregation found a home in Bunscoill Rhumsaa. There are regular Sunday Services and Messy Church.  

St James’ Church

Consecrated in 1839 and designed by John Welch, who designed, King William’s College. The Church served as both chapel and schoolroom. Architecturally, this is a surprisingly spiky church, with a bell tower on the Eastern side and coloured glass windows. Built in 1930, to replace a smaller chapel, that dated from 1863. This pebble dashed Church has decorative redbrick work around the windows and a newer porch with a ramp for disabled access.
